The Boathouse Apartments

“Great rooms, very clean, great view from the rooms, pool is very clean and gardens exceptionally manicured. Great reception and very friendly. Very close (2 min walk) to the port of Airlie (where the boat transfers to Hamilton and Daydream depart). 10% discount if you say you’re returning guest. Rooms are all very similar with similar views of the harbour - beautiful. There’s a washing machine and drier. No microwave. Now the areas for improvement - the pool NEEDS shade. The UV was 13 and there’s no shade anywhere around the pool. Kids get burnt, just a shade sail over a section is all that’s needed. The location - it’s a decent walk through a large park to get to the lagoon and restaurants (there’s 2 downstairs - limited and pricey but the Italian on the corner has amazing food). There’s a small coffee shop downstairs at the harbour side which is great and busy. Overall a great stay and I’d recommended but the shade needs improvement.”

“We had such a great time at whitsunday with the boathouse apartment The view was amazing, staffs were fantastic but few disappointed points with the room. Found hairs on the floors when we entered, dusty smell from extra blanket, ceiling fan at balcony was broken. Other than it's locating at very convenient places . Thanks for your service!”

“We loved out stay at the Boathouse Apartments over the Easter break. We stayed in room 305 on the top floor and found it very good. The views over the marina are lovely. The room is well appointed and they stock it with tea/coffee, milk, dishwashing tabs and washing powder which is helpful. Woolworths is approximately a 10-15 min walk away and taxi's are consistently available to bring you back. The Coral Seas Hotel is at the other end of the peninsula about a 20 min walk along the beach promenade, pool, location and restaurant are fabulous. The Boathouse and Coral Seas Pavilion or Hotel look to be the nicest accomm at Airley. Would def recommend the Boathouse for self contained stays, the pool is lovely and clean and the staff helpful. There are also restaurants directly below which makes things easier. Highly recommend.”

“Heather and Michelle on reception are wonderful, our 3 bedroom apartment was very well presented. My only small issue was staying 7 nights we asked for 2 more garbage bags and toilet rolls but got told we need to get them from the supermarket. The price we paid I don’t think it would hurt to supply these if asked. Overall fantastic experience”

“Just back from a great stay at The Boathouse Apartments . The location is excellent—right on the harbour and close to everything, so it was very easy to get around and enjoy the town. It’s also very handy to the ferry, which made our day trip to Hamilton Island very easy. I stayed in Apartment 101, a beautifully appointed three-bedroom apartment, with friends for four nights. The main balcony was a highlight, with lovely views. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The pool and spa area was a great place to relax with pool large enough to do a few laps if you're in the mood. The reception team were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Airlie Beach.”
